Alberta Society of Gastroenterology Award Winners


The Alberta Society of Gastroenterology Distinguished Educator Award is presented to one ASG member who has amde an oustanding contribution to education on a local, national, or international basis. The contribution may be in the areas of direct teaching, research in education, or development of educational programs. 

The Alberta Society of Gastroenterology Distinguished Researcher Award is presented to one ASG member who has made an outstanding contribution to research. 

Named for Dr. Richard Sherbaniuk and Dr. Noel Hershfield, leaders in Alberta's gastroenterology community, the Sherbaniuk/Hershfield Award for Distinguished Service is presented to one ASG member for outstanding contributions to the field of gastroenterology in Alberta.
